Chamomile water (hydrolate)
Chamomile water is gentle and versatile, especially suitable for sensitive skin. It is used as a tonic for sensitive or acne-prone skin, soothes irritation, redness, and inflammation, helps after sunbathing or on slightly sunburned skin, and refreshes as a skin mist during the day. It is also suitable for compresses around the eyes and tired eyes after long periods of staring at a screen.
Chamomile water is applied to the hair by spraying for a gentle shine and to soothe irritated scalp.
In aromatherapy, it promotes restful sleep; simply spray it on your face, décolleté, or pillow. It can be helpful during childbirth as a gentle natural spray for relaxation and relieves anxiety and tension during the day.
Instructions
Apply directly to the skin or to a cotton pad for cleansing, or spray onto the skin and hair to refresh and tone.
