Black salt is an unrefined volcanic salt with a distinct taste of eggs. In fact, it is pinkish-grey due to its high content of iron and other minerals. It is mined by hand in the volcanic areas of Pakistan.
Use: suitable for salting and for seasoning both cold and hot dishes.
