Silver-plated tongue cleaner Ayurdent
Overnight, a coating forms on the tongue. You should therefore brush your tongue after brushing your teeth to prevent this plaque from forming. Plaque consists of a mixture of toxins and bacteria and is often the cause of bad breath, periodontal disease or tooth decay. The plaque that forms on the tongue should never be swallowed into the body.
Thousands of years ago, an original quotation from the Ayurvedic textbook ‘Charak Samhita’ confirmed that “deposits on the tongue affect the breath and cause bad breath, so the tongue should be cleaned regularly.”
Instructions
To clean the tongue effectively, simply pass the tongue scraper from back to front three to four times. This prevents toxins and other bacteria from getting back into the body.
