Grapeseed Oil
Grapeseed oil is a by-product of wine production. It has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antioxidant properties. Grape seed extracts are an excellent source of vitamins C and E and flavonoids, which improve skin texture and reduce the signs of aging. Grapeseed oil protects against the negative effects of UV rays. In addition, this oil is an effective exfoliant that gently removes dead skin cells to reveal healthier, more radiant skin.
How does grapeseed oil work:
- An excellent source of vitamin C and E: Grapeseed oil provides the body with valuable vitamins C and E, which help maintain healthy skin.
- It contains antioxidants known as flavonoids, which improve skin texture and reduce the signs of aging. They make the skin smoother and look younger.
- Acts as a “sunscreen” for the skin: studies have shown that grape seed oil, when applied to the skin, has a sunscreen-like effect and helps protect against harmful UV rays.
- Excellent exfoliation: this oil is an effective exfoliant that gently removes the top layer of dead skin cells, revealing smoother, healthier skin underneath.
- It helps condition dry, brittle and frizzy hair by moisturizing it: Grapeseed oil is great for moisturizing hair and helping to regenerate it.
Use on skin
Gently massage a few drops of the oil on your face or body. Do not hurry. Concentrate on the pores of the face and make sure they are covered with oil. Leave on overnight or for at least 30 minutes, then cleanse with a mild cleanser.
Use on hair
Gently massage the slightly warmed oil into the scalp. Leave on overnight or for at least an hour for best results. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo.
