The scent of bergamot has a medium intensity and belongs to the top note, so it releases quickly. Bergamot essential oil has a sweet citrus scent with a slightly spicy note.

Bergamot Essential Oil
Bergamot essential oil, when properly diluted, is used not only in aromatherapy but also in cosmetics because it has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antifungal properties. It is used to treat acne, psoriasis, and eczema, which is why it is added to hair shampoos and shower gels. In addition, it smells great as a component of candles or in the home when washing and cleaning – it removes odors and purifies the air.
Bergamot stimulates and aids digestion (flatulence, parasites, nausea) and stimulates the appetite. Thanks to its antispasmodic effects, you can use it during menstruation or for muscle tension, for example. It eliminates viruses and bacteria, making it suitable for diffusers, especially during the flu and cold season.
In aromatherapy, bergamot alleviates depression and reduces stress, and also relaxes and calms anger and tense emotions. The scent of bergamot helps us adapt to unfamiliar or new situations.
Instructions
Use in a diffuser or aroma lamp to create a soothing and warm atmosphere. You can also add a small amount of the oil to your bath or mix it with a base massage oil and use it for massage.
Which essential oils can be combined with bergamot? Try patchouli, lavender, or lime. You can’t go wrong with other citrus fruits, sage, frankincense, and geranium either!
