Milk thistle is a natural antioxidant that helps especially the healthy function of the liver. The fruits contain silymarin (65 – 80 %), vitamins C, E and K, the antioxidant quercetin, the biogenic amines tyramine and histamine and amino acids.
Ingredients: milk thistle (Silybum marianum).
Use & Dosage: take 1 teaspoon (2.5 g) with 2 to 3 dcl of water, ideally about 45 minutes before or after a meal. Take 2 to 3 times a day, ideally as a 3-month treatment. Finely crushed milk thistle berries can also be added to yoghurt, smoothies, porridge, muesli or soups.
