Copper Cup with Engraved Design
Copper inhibits the growth of bacteria, viruses and fungi, cleanses from toxins. Copper removes chlorine contained in water and heavy metals. Water that has stood overnight in a copper vessel harmonizes the body. Drinking beverages from copper vessels is worthwhile not only in the morning, but also throughout the day.
Copper vessels are handmade in India and therefore may not always be perfect. They may have imperfections that in no way affect their quality or functionality.
Usage
The copper cup is suitable for storing cold drinks. Do not use copper vessels for storing liquids other than water. Do not place copper vessels in the refrigerator.
Cleaning the copper vessel from the inside
It is natural for a layer of alkaline copper carbonate called patina to form as a result of copper oxidation. The colour of the copper varies from light reddish to dark brown to the characteristic green. It is common for oxidation to occur most often in the places most exposed to external conditions (water, air, etc.). This change is not a defect but a natural property of pure copper vessels. Regular cleaning of the vessel is an effective prevention.
Put some lime juice, salt and hot water into the copper vessel, rinse and shake the copper vessel for a few minutes, then wash with normal water. Cleaning with a brush is not necessary.
Cleaning the copper vessel from the outside
Copper is one of the softer metals, so do not use scouring agents (dish wire or rough sponges) or chemicals for cleaning. Use a soft cloth to wipe up water drops and remove dirt on the copper. Small black spots may form on the copper due to oxidation, which can be cleaned by rubbing with a soft cloth using natural non-chemical powdered cleaners (such as pitambari / tamarind).
