Kanchanara is the name of a beautiful tree to which Ayurvedic medicine and tradition attributes beneficial and soothing properties. Combined with other fine herbs and especially the fragrant resin from the Mukul myrrh tree (Guggul, Guggul, Guggulu), the traditional Ayurvedic blend Kanchanara Guggulu is produced.
The Indian name Guggulu means “that which protects against disease”. Ayurveda appreciates the resin of Guggul with its bitter, pungent, sweet and astringent taste that balances all three doshas.
Ingredients: (lowest daily dose 3 capsules / maximum daily dose 6 capsules): Balsamodendron mukul (Guggul) 694/1388 mg, Bauhinia variegate (Kanchanara) 334/668 mg, Ghee (clarified cow milk butter) 111/223 mg, Emblica officinalis (Amalaki) 66/133 mg, Terminaliabhilerica/taki 66/133 mg, Terminalia chebula (Haritaki) 66/133 mg, Piper longum (Pippali) 33/66 mg, Crataeva nurvala 33/66 mg, Zingiber officinale (ginger) 33/66 mg, Piper nigrum (black pepper) 33/66 mg, Elettaria cardamomum (cardamom) 8/16 mg, Cinnamomum tamala 8/16 mg, Cinnamomum zeylanicum (ceylon cinnamon) 8/16 mg, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (vegetable capsule).
