Malic acid is a product of natural origin, which is used in hair cosmetics to gently lighten hair.

Malic acid is always applied after thoroughly shampooing the hair, on damp hair. Mixture preparation: 5 to 10 g of powder should be dissolved in a small amount of water and then combined with a protein- and SLES/SLS-free conditioner or mask (approx. 60 to 70 ml). The resulting mixture is applied to the hair and left on for approximately 30 minutes. After this time, wash the hair thoroughly with shampoo.
