Iron deficiency takes different forms. Many women are unable to absorb enough iron to meet the greater need during menstruation, pregnancy and breastfeeding, despite eating a healthy diet. Our bodies can absorb only 15% of the iron found in meat and fish and only 3% from fruits and vegetables!

Iron plays a role in cell division. It also contributes to

• normal energy metabolism and normal cognitive function, reducing fatigue and exhaustion
• normal production of red blood cells and haemoglobin and normal oxygen transport in the body
• normal function of the immune system

Dosage

1 tablet twice daily with warm milk or warm water half an hour before meals. Taking 2 tablets daily, the daily dose contains 32 mg of iron (229% of the Reference Nutrition Value).

Steinsalz 20 mg. starch (corn/gluten-free), excipient: binder gum arabic, Hedychium spicatum 7 mg, Cyperus scariosus 7 mg, Piper longum (Pippali) 7 mg, Cedrus deodara (Himalaya cedar) 7 mg, Curcuma longa (Turmeric) 7 mg, Aconitum heterophyllum 7 mg, Hordeum vulgare (Barley) 7 mg, Baliospermum montanum 7 mg, Elettaria cardamomum (Cardamom) 7 mg, Coriandrum sativum (common coriander) 7 mg, Terminalia chebula (Haritaki) 7 mg, Terminalia belerica 7 mg, Emblica officinalis (Amalaki) 7 mg, Piper chaba 7 mg, Embelia ribes 7 mg, Zingiber officinale (Ginger) 7 mg, Piper nigrum (black pepper) 7 mg, Sodium carbonate 7 mg. excipient: disintgrant magnesium salts of fatty acids, excipient: lubricant talcum.
